S2C R 48/78 USBL communication and positioning device
S2CR 48/78 USBL with a horizontally omnidirectional transducer beam pattern is a high-speed device for tracking and communication in reverberant shallow waters, providing data transfer rates up to 31.2 kbit/s over a 1000 m range.
High operating frequency ensures great performance even in noisy environments.
S2C R USBL devices with a built-in ultra-short baseline antenna enable tracking simultaneously with full-duplex digital communication, delivering an excellent all-round performance as USBL transceivers.
Switching between positioning and communication modes is not necessary: positioning data is calculated simultaneously with acoustic transmissions. Both features complement each other in a fully integrated system.
