Inspired by the hydrodynamics of the penguin, the Quadroin autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) features a low-drag, spindle-shaped hull that allows for rapid surveys and fast bridging of distances at speeds of up to 10 knots.  Carrying a side-scan sonar and underwater camera payload, it is capable of covering large areas quickly and efficiently.
