These are our farthest-distance models, designed for reliable, long-range data exchange. Rated for deepest waters, these devices are capable of reaching 10000 m at up to 6.9 kbit/s.

Before mid-2025, this model was offered as S2C R 7/17D. Our product naming has been streamlined for consistency - the PRO 7/17 dir modems are acoustically compatible with all existing S2C 7/17 devices.
