I-Call

Status

ongoing

The I-CALL project focuses on developing an ultrasound-based, multi-channel system that is safe and reliable for data exchange among implants within the human body.

The system utilizes specialized transducers, which are miniaturized and integrated directly into an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).

This approach aims to enable biocompatible and long-term stable communication, improving patient care.

The project is particularly relevant for enhancing the performance of neuroprostheses, which require the parallel transmission of multiple data streams.
